Fit Mom Classes
Audubon Park and Lakeside Mall
The Fit Mom program provides "no
excuses fitness" with twice- weekly
stroller exercise sessions at which
children are welcome. Cardio, strength
and flexibility are emphasized. Classes
start Thursday and continue on Tuesdays
and Thursdays at two locations. Fees are
$15 per class or $85 for a 10- class

Team Worn Again Presents: A Night of Recycled Creativity

Team Worn Again
announces its 2nd annual fundraiser
benefitting Recycle 4 The Arts.
Worn Again is a recycled fashion
competition that originated in VA in
2005. Designers have 10 days to take the
random bag of recycled clothing and
material we give them and create NEW,
ORIGINAL, and MIND BLOWING fashions to
rock our runway. All proceeds will be
donated to Recycle 4 The Arts.
30 chosen artists and designers will
strut their talents during this juried
event. Designer Registration April 1st -
June 7th. $10 per designer.
The official Worn Again jury will be
held June 21st.
Worn Again Jr.
Worn Again Jr. is a recycled fashion
competition for designers 8-15 years of
age
Recycle for the Arts will be offering
these young designers free sewing
tutorials leading up to the event which
will take place on June 21st.

1st Recycled Dance Competition
This is for those who LOVE to dance!!!
10 teams with a minimum of four brave
souls will receive a mystery dance
routine and three weeks to learn the
routine and wow the Worn Again after
party! Winners will be chosen by the
audience based on best performance and
authenticity of costumes. Registration
is April 1st - June 7th.

The Parenting Center
Children's Hospital
The Center is a multifaceted community resource that provides support and education
to parents. The goals of the Center are to promote confidence and competence in parents,
to encourage optimal child development, and to enhance the well-being of the family.
To accomplish these goals, The Parenting Center offer a variety of programs that address
the normal developmental problems and issues facing today's parents. The core services
include programs for parents of infants and toddlers, and programs for parents of
school-age through adolescent children. In addition to classes and regular group activities,
individual counseling is available.
Parenting classes are available to parents on a very reasonable class-fee basics.

stencil and paint their huge dino

Week of July 7: Ocean & Pirates
We'll use stories and music to explore
the wide, wild ocean. Visit whales, join
up with pirate bands, and even go on a
treasure hunt!
